Edmonton fire crews battle pair of early morning house fires

Fire crews in Edmonton responded to a pair of calls in the north end of the city Monday morning.
Firefighters tackled flames at a house near 93 Street and 129-B Avenue just after 4 a.m.

Edmonton Fire Rescue Services say the fire was under control within the hour. One person was treated by EMS at the scene.

Crews were also called to a house on 72 Street and 129 Avenue just after 5 a.m.

That fire was out by 8:30 and no serious injuries were reported.
The cause of both fires remains under investigation.
