Edmonton police announce the death of constable

Just under a week after the deaths of two officers, the Edmonton Police Service (EPS) has announced the death of another officer.

At this time, EPS has not yet released a cause of death.

EPS shared in a tweet Wednesday afternoon the passing of constable Corinne Kline.

“It is with profound sadness, the Edmonton Police Service (EPS) announces the passing of Constable Corinne Kline. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends during this difficult time. We will miss her dearly,” read the tweet.

Const. Kline was a member of the service for 21 years.

During that time, she was in a variety of roles and units including; patrol, front counter, volunteer coordination, assisting domestic violence victims, and the Community Engagement Unit.

Kline was also a mother of three.
