Procession to funeral home for Edmonton police officers killed in line of duty

The bodies of the two Edmonton police officers who were shot and killed on the job last week were moved to the funeral home Tuesday afternoon.

The officers were gunned down last Thursday by a 16-year-old while they were responding to a reportedly non-violent domestic dispute at an apartment building in Inglewood.

Police say the teen shot and wounded his mother during a struggle for the gun then shot and killed himself.
