The bodies of the two Edmonton police officers who were shot and killed on the job last week were moved to the funeral home Tuesday afternoon.
A procession moved Const. Brett Ryan and Const. Travis Jordan from the medical examiner’s office to the funeral home.
Hundreds of police cars lined streets in Edmonton.
Blue ribbons were wrapped around street lights along the five-kilometre procession route.
Civilians also stood along the streets to show their support, some wearing blue ribbons and scarves.

The officers were gunned down last Thursday by a 16-year-old while they were responding to a reportedly non-violent domestic dispute at an apartment building in Inglewood.
Police say the teen shot and wounded his mother during a struggle for the gun then shot and killed himself.
