Smith’s popularity has sees slight uptick: Survey

A new poll suggests Premier Danielle Smith’s popularity has seen a slight uptick.

The Angus Reid survey puts her approval rating at 46 per cent – up 3 points from December.

She ranks seventh out of the ten provincial premiers.

Smith also saw an improvement in those who strongly disapproved of her – dropping 6 points down to 38 per cent.

This marks Smith’s second rating in an Angus Reid survey.

By comparison, Rachel Notley’s first approval rating in June 2015 came in at 53 per cent before slipping to 50 per cent 3 months later.
