Two deaths in north Edmonton Tuesday considered suspicious: police

Edmonton police are investigating a pair of suspicious deaths that occurred Tuesday evening in north Edmonton.
EPS say around 7:35 p.m., officers responded to a weapons complaint near 132A Avenue and 66 Street.
When they arrived, officers found a man and a woman in a vehicle suffering from serious injuries. EMS was called, however, both victims died from their injuries at the scene.
An autopsy to determine the cause of both deaths is scheduled for Thursday, Mar. 9, and Friday, Mar. 10.
Edmonton police are asking if anyone has any information, or if anyone driving near 66 Street and 132 Avenue on Tuesday Mar. 7, 2023, between the hours of 7:15 p.m. and 7:50 p.m., to contact EPS at 780-423-4567 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
Any nearby resident who has security cameras is also asked to contact police.
