Six students pepper sprayed outside Mary Butterworth School

Six students are recovering after being sprayed by pepper spray, following a confrontation outside Mary Butterworth School.
According to Edmonton Public School officials, several people approached the school around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, which is around the time the pepper spray was used.
Staff called 9-1-1, and police and firefighters responded to the school to treat those involved.
Social workers and psychologists were also brought in to support staff and students.
Police say an investigation is ongoing.
