Edmonton police have arrested three people and have issued Canada-wide arrest warrants to two in connection to a double homicide in 2021.
EPS say around 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 6, 2021, officers were called to a home near 111 Street and 78 Avenue under suspicious circumstances.
When they arrived, they found a man and woman dead, adding neither victim lived at the address.
An autopsy was later conducted and ruled the deaths as homicides. The cause of death was determined, however, due to the nature of the investigation, EPS is withholding that information.
Since then, investigators have been able to charge three people in connection to the deaths.
Joshua Saulteaux, 22, was taken into custody in Edmonton on Dec. 20, 2022.
Four days later, RCMP took a 17-year-old into custody in St. Paul.
Most recently, Martin Dubitski, 39 was taken into custody in Maskwacis on Jan. 8, 2023.
All have since been charged with first-degree murder.
EPS say warrants have been issued for Natalie Morin, 41 and Jerad Wuttunee, 34, who are both also wanted for first-degree murder.
Anyone who has any information regarding the investigation or the whereabouts of Morin or Wuttunee, is asked to call 780-423-4567 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
