Two youth in custody after robbing vape shop and running from police

Dramatic footage of a police foot chase was captured on dashcam video in west Edmonton following a brazen robbery.
Police say it occurred around 8 p.m. when a vape shop near 127 Avenue and 50 Street was robbed. Employees were held at knifepoint, and one was injured during the robbery.
After the robbery, the suspects fled the scene and a video shows them running from police.
They were later identified and arrested by the tactical section in West Edmonton the following evening. Police recovered two weapons during the arrest.
Police say the two suspects are youth, therefore cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act but both have been charged with robbery, disguise with intent and several weapons offences.
