Edmonton police say a 51-year-old man was killed and a 21-year-old woman was injured Sunday morning, and a burned-out vehicle was located in connection with the incident.

The Edmonton Police Service says the man’s death is considered suspicious, and the homicide unit is investigating.

Police say officers were called to a home at 16 A Avenue and 38 Street for a reported disturbance.

Officers arrived to find the man and the woman with injuries. The man was taken to hospital, where he later died. An autopsy is scheduled for Friday.

The woman was hospitalized with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. She remained in hospital by early Sunday afternoon.

Investigators later located a burned-out vehicle near 24 Street and 14 Avenue. They believe it’s connected to the incident.

Detectives are looking for anyone who witnessed a 2012 white Dodge Ram truck in the area Saturday night or Sunday morning.

Investigators are also hoping to get home security and dash cam footage from near the home, or where the burned-out vehicle was located.
