Icy roads throughout province: Alberta RCMP

Drivers heading south out of Edmonton along the QEII can expect delays near the Edmonton International Airport.
Leduc RCMP have reported a collision in the Southbound lanes along Alberta’s major highway.

Due to current weather conditions a lot of ice has also been reported on roads in and around Edmonton and throughout the province. Police and RCMP are asking all drivers traveling between Edmonton and Calgary to take extra caution.
It is also recommended if you need to head out, leave earlier than normal to allow for slower and safer driving in the poor weather conditions or to allow for possible detours due to collisions.
