Jasper Place structure fire sends one person to hospital
A person was hospitalized following an early-morning structure fire in west Edmonton on Sunday.
Edmonton Fire Rescue Services says it received a 9-1-1 call shortly before 5 a.m. about a structure fire near 149 Street and 94 Avenue.
When fire crews arrived a few minutes later, the fire was upgraded to a second alarm.

EFRS says one person was taken to hospital by EMS, but the extent of their injuries is unknown.
The fire was called under control by 6:47 a.m.
EFRS could not confirm if the structure was abandoned or occupied by tenants.
