Fans are encouraged to show up for Friday’s procession, which will go past Rogers Place at 10 a.m. The Kids with Cancer Society is expected to provide posters of Ben.

A celebration of life will then be livestreamed at 11:30 a.m.

The six-year-old, who was battling brain cancer, passed away last Tuesday.

Ben became a hockey sensation after the Oilers brought him on as their playoff ambassador.

He also helped create awareness and spur fundraising for the Kids with Cancer Society.

“Ben was an absolute joy and the brightest light in this world,” his obituary read. “His love knew no bounds and his giggle and smile lit up the world. He was an absolute warrior during his fight and is a true hero.”

The celebration of life will be livestreamed here.
