Cadotte Lake First Nation man wanted for first degree murder, police ask for assistance

Mounties in Peace River are looking for a man involved in shooting on Cadotte Lake First Nation and are asking for people’s help locating him.

Police say the 31-year old suspect from Cadotte Lake First Nation is wanted for first degree murder.

On July 26, 2022 at approximately 9:30 p.m., police were called for a report of a man who had been shot inside his home.

He is described as 185lbs and 5’4″, brown eyes, and brown hair.

Police say the 35-year old victim was taken to an Edmonton hospital by air ambulance where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The suspect is also armed and considered dangerous, police say.
