Edmonton’s hockey superstar getting hockey card
Forget Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl – Ben Stelter is Edmonton’s current hockey superstar.
The 5-year-old cancer patient first gained the attention of fans when he skated with the team as part of their pre-game presentation on March 24th at Rogers Place.
Stelter has been battling glioblastoma, a type of brain cancer.

The sports merchandise company released a hockey card referring to him as a heroic inspiration.
The card – which pictures Ben alongside McDavid – will be available at Thursday night’s Oilers game.
The team also announced that proceeds from its 50/50 raffle during round one of the playoffs will go towards the Kids With Cancer Foundation – a group that has been working with Stelter to raise awareness and funds.
