Three Ontario men have been charged in connection to a major string of truck thefts in Edmonton.
Police say over 40 trucks were reported stolen – with thieves targeting Ford F-150s between 2017 and 2020 with push-start buttons.
The thieves used sophisticated technology to override the trucks’ anti-theft systems.
Seven of the truck have since been recovered.
The men face several charges including theft of a motor vehicle, possession of stolen property over 5000 dollars and possession of break-in instruments.
