Man dies in rollover collision on Anthony Henday

EDMONTON (CityNews) – Edmonton police are investigating a fatal rollover on the west side of the Anthony Henday near 100 Avenue.

Officers responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision early Monday morning.

Police say a black Acura TL was travelling northbound, approaching 100 Ave when it lost control, left the road and flipped, landing on the vehicle’s roof.

The 20-year-old driver was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead on scene by EMS.

Police believe speed to be a factor in the collision.
