25-year-old daycare operator facing child porn charges

EDMONTON – Edmonton police have laid child porn charges against a 25-year-old after a month-long investigation.

Police were first notified of the child porn case in September when someone reported the suspect, Nicholas Baglole-Gaudet.

On Sept. 9, the police searched the man’s residence and took his laptop, which had child pornography on it.

Baglole-Gaudet operated a daycare, but police say that none of the porn involved kids in his care.

He has been charged with possession of child porn and accessing child porn and has been released with several conditions.
