First-degree murder charge in May death of Lisa Arsenault

EDMONTON – Months after Lisa Arsenault was found dead at a motel in the city’s southeast, Edmonton police have laid a murder charge in her death.

Around 8 p.m. on May 24, EPS was called to a motel near 38 Ave and Gateway Boulevard. In one of the suites, police found 48-year-old Arsenault already dead.

Back in June, EPS released surveillance footage of person of interest seen walking outside the motel where Arsenault was killed.
