Police investigate possible drownings southwest of Edmonton

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – RCMP in Alberta are investigating two possible drownings southwest of Edmonton.

Police say they were called to Pigeon Lake on Friday afternoon.

A woman was located along the shoreline of Silver Beach and pronounced dead at the scene.

A man was later found dead along the same shoreline, and a kayak was found a short distance away.

Police say there’s no indication of it being a criminal incident.
