Edmonton pilot uninjured in emergency landing

EDMONTON (CITYNEWS) – An Edmonton area pilot was forced to make an emergency landing Saturday morning due to unexpected mechanical issues with the plane.

The pilot of the small float plane landed the aircraft safely on an unoccupied roadway near Sherwood Park shortly before noon.

The man was the owner and sole occupant of the plane. He was not injured in the emergency landing, and the float plane received very little damage.

Nobody else was involved in the incident.
