DRAYTON VALLEY (660 NEWS) – An Alberta oil and gas worker is being hailed a hero after rescuing three kittens frozen to the ground.
On Friday, Kendall Diwisch from Drayton Valley found the three cats frozen on a back road near an oil well he was working at.
Diwisch acted quickly to thaw the ice and free the cats away using coffee and took them home for some much-needed food, water, and warmth.
The rescue caught the attention of animal group Cause for Critters which shared it on social media.
A local family adopted all three kittens after seeing the story.
