Wind warnings out for Calgary and southern Alberta

CALGARY (660 NEWS) Very strong winds are blowing through many parts of Alberta, including the Calgary area.

Environment Canada has issued wind warnings for several areas.

It’s warning of possible damage from gusts up to 100 km/h. South of the city, there have been winds as high as 130 km/hr.

A system is blowing in that’s expected to bring colder temperatures and snow through the weekend.
