CANADA (660 NEWS) — More than 100 volunteers are taking part in two days of tree planting in southwest Calgary.
It’s part of a TD bank’s corporate citizen platform that aims to plant one million trees by 2030 across the country.
This year, TD employees, their families and friends and community volunteers are planting a total of 750 trees in Calgary over the course of two days.
The first tree planting event takes place today between 9 a.m. and noon in Edworthy Park. It’s one of more than 100 events happening from coast-to-coast.
Calgarians will also have another chance to take part on September 28 in Griffith Woods.
