SHERWOOD PARK – Things are back to normal at the Emerald Hills Shopping Centre after Mounties were called in Tuesday afternoon for reports of a bomb threat.
Strathcona County RCMP say shortly after noon, the staff at the Visions Electronics store got a phone call from an unknown person saying there was a bomb in the store. Store employees called 911 immediately.
After evacuating the section of the mall, the RCMP Explosives Disposal Unit (EDU) and Edmonton Police Service EDU searched the store and nearby PetSmart.
Nothing suspicious was found.
