Edmonton chiropractor facing more sex assault charges

EDMONTON – (CityNews) Edmonton police have laid additional sexual assault charges against a local chiropractor.

Back in March, Edmonton police put out a notice to the public after it was reported 65-year-old Ron Harry Latch was charged in a historical sexual assault.

In 2018, police say a woman reported that she was sexually assaulted by Latch more than 30 years ago while underage.

It’s alleged she was a patient of Latch at the time of the assault.

Police believed there could be more victims, and since March, more people came forward leading police to lay additional charges.

15 more charges have been laid against Latch including sexual assault, sexual interference and gross indecency.

The alleged incidents are believed to have happened between 1982 and 2017.
