One dead, two injured in early morning shooting

EDMONTON (CITYNEWS) – One man is dead after a shooting in the overnight hours Sunday.

Around 1:30 a.m., police were called to 101 Street near Whyte Ave for a weapons-related complaint. Upon arrival, officers found a man dead and two others suffering non-life-threatening injuries.

Police believe that a man approached an establishment in the area and fired several rounds into the lounge through the window and then ran away. There are no suspects in custody.
