Karen McPherson will not run for reelection this spring
CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Calgary Mackay-Nose Hill MLA Karen McPherson announced on Wednesday that she will not be running in the upcoming provincial election.
In a statement issued on Twitter, McPherson said she’s had a hard time balancing the roles of an MLA and time with her family.

The Calgary MLA was elected in 2015 as a member of the NDP Caucus. She crossed the floor to the Alberta Party in the fall of 2017.
