2 people hospitalized after driver suffers medical episode causing collision

Edmonton police say two people are in hospital following a morning collision at a traffic circle at 107 Avenue and 142 Street.
EPS says around 8:15 a.m., officers responded to a report that a sedan that was travelling west struck multiple vehicles within the traffic circle.
Through the initial stages of the investigation, police believe that speed may have been a factor in the collision as the driver of the sedan may have been experiencing a medical episode.
The driver and passenger of the sedan were taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.
Police note that two vehicles were hit during the collision and no injuries were reported from anyone in those vehicles.
Police have since reopened the traffic circle for traffic.
