Kenney heads to Lethbridge on day two of campaign

LETHBRIDGE (660 NEWS) – United Conservative Party leader Jason Kenney was in Lethbridge Wednesday making a campaign announcement and speaking to supporters
Says he will amend tax payer protection act requiring a referendum on any new carbon tax proposal in the future.

Kenney presented the party’s plan, especially when it came to the carbon tax, which he vows to repeal if he’s elected Premier.
He also said he will sue the Trudeau government if they try to impose a carbon tax on Alberta.
Kenney says the NDP’s tax will only rise up to $50 a tonne, which he says will continue to kill jobs.
Kenney says the carbon tax is killing jobs. Kenney says UCP gov will scrap carbon tax. That will be the first bill they will introduce. He says it will be history by May 30th.
