Edmonton police looking into suspicious death in Wîhkwêntôwin neighbourhood

Edmonton police are investigating a suspicious death on Monday.

EPS says officers responded to a report of a family dispute in a condominium complex in west Edmonton around 3:45 p.m.

While police were taking a 36-year-old man into custody, officers were informed of another address near 104 Avenue and 122 Street, and when they went to that location, they found the body of a 74-year-old man.

Police say that both the deceased and the man in custody were known to each other.

An autopsy was scheduled for Tuesday, and an investigation is ongoing.
