Edmonton police looking for 2 people following alleged assault at a convenience store

Edmonton police are looking for two people who are believed to be connected to an alleged assault at a convenience store in May.
EPS says around noon on May 21, officers responded to a report of a robbery at a convenience store near 157 Street and Stony Plain Road.
It is believed that a man and a woman entered the store and allegedly began shoplifting before they were confronted by the store clerk.
Reports indicate that a struggle between a man and the clerk broke out, which led to the clerk allegedly being stabbed.
Police say a 44-year-old man was taken to hospital by paramedics with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The man who is believed to be involved is believed to have been wearing a black T-shirt with white graphics on the front, black track pants, black boots, and was carrying a black backpack at the time, while the woman he was with is believed to have been wearing maroon-colored pants and a jacket, black boots, and was carrying a black bag.
