Two houses in Lamont have been damaged due to a house fire.

RCMP say the fire crews were called to a blaze on 52 Avenue, just after 1 a.m. on Friday.

Mounties did not say how the fire was started or if there were any injuries in either homes, but say that the incident is under investigation.

As of 9:50 a.m. police and firefighters were still on scene.
