Three teens charged for shooting pellet gun near Harry Ainlay School: Edmonton police

Edmonton police say three teens have been charged with mischief after a vehicle was reportedly shot at Monday morning.

Officers responded to the area of 111 Street and 43 Avenue after receiving the report and were able to pull over a vehicle with three teens inside outside Harry Ainlay School.

Students were taken inside as a precautionary measure.

During the traffic stop, officers were able to find and seize a gun, which was confirmed to be a water gun that shoots pellets.

Edmonton Public School Board confirmed that none of the teens involved attended Harry Ainlay School, and noted parents would be receiving a letter explaining the incident.

Police have since charged the teens with mischief.
