Homicide police investigating central Edmonton death

Homicide police are investigating the death of a man in central Edmonton this weekend.

Paramedics responded to a medical event at a home on 106 Avenue and 95 Street early Saturday morning and found the man’s body.

The Edmonton Police Service says the man had injuries sustained during an assault.

Homicide investigators were called to the home around 3 a.m.

An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
