RCMP investigating suspicious death in Red Deer

RED DEER (660 NEWS) — A startling wake-up for some people in Red Deer on Tuesday morning.
Shortly before 5 a.m., RCMP responded to a call in the neighborhood of Eastview after a person found a man dead in the middle of the road.
Police determined the man died as a result of a gunshot wound and determined his death to be a homicide.

After evidence was gathered from the scene, police determined the man’s death was an isolated incident and there is no risk to public safety.
Police are now asking anyone who may have heard the gunshot or may have any information to step forward.
