EDMONTON (CityNews) – Alberta Parks is warning against the resale of campsite reservations.
On Mar. 4, more than 21,000 camping reservations were booked at the Alberta Parks website.
But like every year, huge web traffic led to technical errors and many unhappy campers were unable to book reservations.
1/3 We have seen some concerns about the resale of campsite reservations online – this is not allowed. Reservations are non-transferable; when a camper registers at the campground, only the account holder or authorized user listed on their account is allowed to check-in. pic.twitter.com/zCRTrnGAPk

Alberta Parks says if they catch anyone trying to resell their campsites, they will cancel the reservation.
They have asked people to report any camping resale ads or posts.
