31 new COVID-19 cases in Alberta, Edmonton surpasses Calgary in active cases

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Alberta has reported 31 new cases of COVID-19 in the province as of Sunday afternoon.

There are currently 235 active cases in the Calgary zone and 238 in the Edmonton area.

Edmonton has now surpassed Calgary’s active cases numbers.

Around 33 people are in hospital, seven of whom are in intensive care.

The number of deaths in the province sits at 152.

As of Sunday afternoon, 7,018 Albertans have recovered from COVID-19.
