216 new COVID-19 cases in Alberta, one additional death

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Two-hundred-sixteen new cases of the coronavirus have been reported in Alberta Saturday.
The new cases bring the provincial total to 4,233. During this afternoon’s update, health officials also recorded one additional death.
The total number of fatalities in the province is now 73.

Calgary has 2,964 cases while 475 are in the Edmonton area.
Cases in continuing care facilities still remain a pressing concern for health officials, as there are 415 cases in care facilities.
On a positive note, 1,471 people have recovered from the virus.
