Homicide investigators probing McConachie Blvd. death

EDMONTON – The Edmonton Police Service has called in the Homicide Section after police found a dead man while responding to a weapons complaint over the weekend.
Around 11 p.m. Saturday, police were called to an apartment complex on McConachie Boulevard for a weapons complaint.
Upon arrival, officers found a 32-year-old man dead in an apartment.
A resident who lives within the condo complex, shared this video with me. He told me there was was a massive police presence, as officers were trying to locate a suspect. He says the tactical team, canine unit and police helicopter were all present. @edmontonpolice #yeg pic.twitter.com/lJRcPdcZyO

One of the people living at the condo complex said there was a massive police presence, with the K9 unit and helicopter all helping in trying to locate a suspect.
An autopsy has yet to be scheduled and few other details were available.
Anyone with information is asked to call EPS or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
