Man in hospital after afternoon shooting in Windermere

EDMONTON (CityNews) – Edmonton police continue to look for the person or people responsible for an afternoon shooting in Windermere.
It happened Thursday afternoon just after 3:00 p.m. in a home near Wright Drive and 177 Street.
When SW Division patrol members arrived, they found a man with gunshot wounds, suffering from serious injuries.
Paramedics treated him on scene and then transported him to hospital.
Police believe this is a targeted incident and the public and surrounding community are not in any danger.
Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
