Vaping to be included in review of smoking regulations: Health Minister

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Alberta’s Health Minister confirms vaping will be included in a review of the province’s smoking legislation.
MLA Tyler Shandro said the current legislation doesn’t mention vaping.
Albertans and vape shop owners can submit input to the government beginning Nov. 1.

Shandro adds any amendments to the act can be expected in the spring. In the meantime, AHS will keep an eye out for any vaping illnesses but so far none have been reported in Alberta.
