BROOKS (660 NEWS) – There’s going fast and then there’s going extremely fast.

That’s exactly what police say a 20-year-old man from Brooks did in his red Ford Mustang on Saturday night.

The RCMP clocked the man driving 226 km/h on the Trans Canada Highway. The speed limit for the road is 110km/h.

The man was stopped by police and charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle.
