CALGARY (660 NEWS) — The four leaders of Alberta’s major political parties are standing together to fight for the province.
Premier Jason Kenney posted a Facebook video thanking Rachel Notley, Stephen Mandel and David Khan for signing a non-partisan letter that will be sent to every senator.
The leaders are requesting the full Senate put an end to both Bill C-48 and Bill C-69.
Earlier this week, the Senate’s Standing Committee on Transportation and Communication recommended killing Bill C-48, which would ban tanker traffic on B.C.’s north coast.
Another Senate committee approved dozens of changes to Bill C-69.
