Three-month-old puppy stolen days before Christmas

EDMONTON (CityNews) – Edmonton police are turning to the public for help finding a three-month-old puppy they say was stolen by a “real Grinch” during a break and enter yesterday.

Officers responded to a home near 116 Avenue and 95 Street in the city’s northwest on Dec. 20 around 2:30 p.m.

When they arrived, nothing else was taken except the young Havanese puppy named Milo.

Investigators believe the residence was targeted for the sole purpose of taking the dog. The couple was not home at the time and the dog was inside a kennel.

Police describe her as between the ages of 20 and 30 years old.

She was wearing black pants, a grey hoodie and beige jacket at the time of the robbery.

Anyone with information about who the woman is or the whereabouts of Milo is asked to contact the EPS at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone.

Anonymous information can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
