Driver fatally struck by own bus in Alberta parking lot

Calgary (660 NEWS) – A tour bus driver has been struck and killed by her own bus in the parking lot of the Columbia Icefield, north of Banff.

Jasper RCMP say several vehicles were involved in a collision Thursday at the popular tourist destination.

The 52-year-old driver was outside at the time when she was struck by the bus and suffered fatal injuries.

The bus also struck four other vehicles before it came to rest.

Several witnesses have been interviewed, but the investigation is still ongoing.

No one else was hurt.
